So I'm pretty stinkin mad right now. After work on Friday I go to ride my bike home and its not there! "Where the freak is it?!" I thought. Turns out my bike was stolen and the thief cut the lock. I went back inside the ITB where I work on BYU campus and talked to someone who had access to the cameras. We were able to pinpoint the time of the stealing to 2:00 pm and saw the bad guys take two bikes! They looked to be around 16-18 years old.
I filed a police report with hope that since my bike was registered, the police would be able to do something. The next day I see my bike on KSL! The thief swapped out my super nice seat and put some other crappy thing on it. I immediately knew it was my bike because of the handlebar stem. The stem I put on my bike was from a Jamis road bike and cannot even be purchased. It comes stock on Jamis bikes and I could distinguish it in the pictures taken of my stolen bike!
I emailed the thief to set up an appointment to check out the bike (pretending to want to buy it). I called some friends up to also put bids in on the bike to force him to reply to at least one of us. He replied back saying he wanted to meet up Sunday.
Well, it's Sunday now and I have been waiting for this idiot's return email to tell me where we can meet. I called the cops as well and they are ready and willing to accompany me to get my bike back from this guy. I hope he responds!

Champions League Final + Hangtown Motocross!
Had a great weekend! It all started Friday. I woke up early to study for the grammar test that I had planned to take by 10:00am and get to work by 12:00pm. I actually feel like I did fairly well. I got an 84% on it so I can't complain. Obviously I would have liked to get an A, but the last ten questions were killer! For the most part the test went fairly well, and I felt like I was answering the questions to the best of my abilities. On Saturday morning we headed up to Sandy to stay with my wife's grandparents and brother while they were in town before heading to CA for the summer. We watched Chealsea play Bayern Munich for the Champions League Final and were pretty bummed by the outcome. Chelsea won which means Tottenham won't be in Champions league next season! Super lame! Rumors have been floating around that Gareth Bale might switch teams now that they aren't in the Champs league too, which would be horrible! As far as motocross racing goes, James Stewart won both motos at Hangtown in my hometown of Sacramento, CA! It was his debut race for Yoshimura Suzuki and it was awesome!

Great Weekend
My wife and I had a great weekend. We hung out with our friends Jeff and Rachel Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and had a great time. On Saturday, we drove up to Bridal Vail Falls and hiked up to the waterfall. It was a pretty good hike and there was a nice view of the waterfall once you got right up to it. The only problem was that some dumb kids hiked further up and were throwing rocks down and one happened to hit my neck. Luckily it wasn't too bad, but it was still annoying. That night we had a nice little barbecue and even had deep-fried ice cream. It was awesome! Sunday turned out to be a fantastic Mother's day. We planned a huge dinner that was basically everything you would have for thanksgiving. Ashley and I roasted a turkey, made mashed potatoes, stuffing, and even made a new dish called ratatouille. It turned out even better than we expected and now we have leftovers to make some awesome sandwiches during the week. Overall, I had a great weekend and a nice break from the everyday life of work and school.

Vacation
I'm just driving back from Vegas and my wife and I had a great little trip. We went for her brothers wedding which turned out great! It wasn't as relaxing as we had hoped because we were busy setting up and tearing down a lot of stuff for the wedding, but that didn't keep us from having a good time. We didn't go by the strip at all, but enjoyed a little bit of shopping and laying out by the pool at our hotel. Anthony and Lauren's wedding ceremony at the temple was great to be a part of and we hope them the best as they start their married life together...
